Bridges 

Bridges is an after school program that provides after school supervision and educational support. If you are interested in this program, there are applications in the office. For more information, visit the district website's Bridge's page.

Clubs 

Our school offers opportunities to be involved in a variety of clubs that are held during lunch or after school. Our current clubs on campus include: Student's of Color, Lego club,  Choir, Rainbow Alliance, Student Principal Advisory Committee, and Student Senate. 

Sports

Lichen currently partners with Sunrise Recreation and Park District to provide opportunities for after school sports. 

TRIO

TRIO is available to our 6th-8th grade students. They meet with our school advisor once a month during school hours. 

What is TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS)? 

The TRIO Educational Talent Search program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is designed to motivate and prepare low-income, first-generation college students for success in postsecondary education (trade school, community college, or 4-year university). All services are provided at no cost to students and their families. 

What free services are provided? 

Academic Advising Secondary and Post-Secondary Course Advising. Connections to Tutoring Resources College Entrance Exam Preparation College & Career Awareness College Exploration Activities Information on Majors and Careers Assistance Completing College Applications Information on Admissions, Financial Aid, College Enrollment Process and Educational Equity Programs (TRIO SSS, EOP) College and Educational Campus Visits Financial Aid Awareness Assistance in Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Information on Scholarship Opportunities 

** Field trips are covered free of cost. We cover the hotel, meals, and any activities/museums.

Or you can visit the Maker Space from 8am to 12pm on Wednesday’s to see Ms. Isabelle to get a paper application. The online application is available in Spanish, Punjabi, Urdu, Russian, or Ukrainian.
